The storyline progression in terms of Bray Wyatt has been slow-burn up until now. Since his return to the WWE in October of this year, Wyatt hadn’t wrestled a single match up until December 26th. Wyatt wrestled his first match since his return on December 26th.

At the company’s live event at the MSG, he defeated Jinder Mahal in a singles match. Wyatt performed a Sister Abigail to seal the deal. Bray Wyatt is currently feuding with LA Knight, and he has been well utilized for Wyatt’s character development.

On the December 16th edition of SmackDown, it was obvious that Uncle Howdy and Bray Wyatt are different people. The December 23rd edition of SmackDown saw Wyatt demand an apology from LA Knight for attacking him on the previous edition of SmackDown. When LA Knight did not respond, an enraged and conflicted Wyatt attacked the cameraman with his mandible claw.

Bray Wyatt’s character work has been praised widely. His rise from an NXT rookie to one of the top stars of this generation is really commendable. Wyatt has always reinvented himself and made sure that the crowd is entertained through his gimmicks.

During a recent interview with Bill Apter of SK Wrestling, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat heaped praise on Wyatt. Steamboat, who worked closely with Wyatt at the FCW, said that Wyatt was constantly thinking of ways to make himself better.

“I liked the way how he [Bray Wyatt] thought because he was always thinking about how he could get better. And he wasn’t the type of guy to give up. I don’t know about now, but then [during his time in FCW],”

Bray Wyatt started using his artistic brilliance following his second stint in the FCW. The wrestling community was introduced to the persona of Bray Wyatt. As the leader of The Wyatt Family, Wyatt made a name for himself. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper joined him, and the stable rose to prominence as one of this generation’s most well-liked. Due to uneven bookings and the fact that it never lived up to its potential, it was disbanded in 2017.

During a recent interview with WrestlingNewsCo, Erick Rowan spoke about Wyatt’s current run in the WWE. He claimed to have watched the Crown Jewel as he was curious about Wyatt’s presence at the event.

Fans have criticized Wyatt’s current storyline for being too slow to develop. Rowan spoke about the slow burn thing and said that nowadays fans don’t have patience, and they feel like watching a soap opera.

“I don’t watch often, but I watch for certain people……It’s a story. I know most wrestling fans don’t have a lot of patience these days. … It’s kind of like watching a soap opera … you have to watch it every day to be clued in on what happened.”

Alexa Bliss is speculated to form an alliance with Wyatt again. After many teases and Bliss confessing on a recent edition of RAW that she was abducted by Wyatt, fans will get to see an alliance between the two.
