The recent allegations against Vince McMahon led to the WWE founder’s resignation from TKO. Many fans speculated whether Vince’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon, had retired due to her father’s alleged heinous acts. Since her resignation in early 2023, she has kept a low profile in public. The Billion Dollar Princess has visited shows sporadically but wasn’t seen in public for a long time. Now, she has been spotted for the first time since the controversy.
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were in attendance at a dinner along with members of the Catch-A-Lift Fund, a non-profit organization. The establishment indulges in helping combat veterans with injuries recover from mental and physical pain. Andrew Berman took to Instagram to post a photo that shows the power couple alongside a couple of veterans.
By the looks of it, Stephanie and Hunter have partnered to help veterans in need. The former was, at one point, Chief Brand Officer of WWE. Therefore, she played a major role in the company’s partnerships with similar organizations. After Vince’s resignation, reports suggested that many in the company were hoping that Steph would return to the promotion.
The former chairwoman was well-liked and respected among talent backstage. As such, a return to the promotion might help boost morale. Vince’s resignation marked a new era in the promotion, as for the first time, no McMahon held any executive position within the company. However, this can change if TKO decides to bring back Stephanie in the foreseeable future.
Matt Riddle spoke about his relationship with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
After the WWE-UFC merger in September, Matt Riddle was one of the dozen stars let go by the Stamford-based promotion. According to sources, backstage officials believed he had “burned through many chances.” Despite the manner of his exit, The Original Bro was full of praise for WWE’s power couple, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
While speaking on the Signed by Superstars channel, Riddle revealed that The Billion Dollar Princess was always nice to him. As for Hunter, the former US Champion reminisced about a story where his vape pen fell out of his pocket and hit the CCO. The King of Kings hilariously told the controversial star that was what he expected from him.
I was calling a match, I was doing this and that, and then all of a sudden my vape pen flew out of my pocket and like hit him. He looked down at it and I was like, 'nothing to see here' and he's like, 'that's what we expect from you, bro.Matt Riddle on his relationship with Triple H
He further added that Triple H was always approachable and open to ideas. Moreover, Riddle wished he had a better relationship with him. All in all, it seems that talent was happy under the leadership of Hunter and Stephanie. While the latter retired a year ago, Hunter has gained a more prominent role after the merger.
