NBA analyst Stephen Smith envious of Paul Heyman warns The Bloodline member that he will one day replace him as The Wise Man in WWE
Stephen Smith warned Paul Heyman that he was coming for his "Wise Man" job if it was the last thing he did.

Paul Heyman and Stephen Smith
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman recently appeared on ESPN’s First Take ahead of SummerSlam. The talk show is hosted by NBA Analyst Stephen Smith and there were some exciting conversations in it. After the episode, Heyman and the host exchanged a few words.
The well-known personality “acknowledged” the Wise Man’s skills. Stephen claimed that the way the former ECW manager speaks and agitates people makes him happy. Obviously, the show’s host was full of praise for Paul Heyman. “I’m not jealous, but I am envious; you’re fantastic!”, added Stephen Smith.
Furthermore, the long-time journalist humorously ordered the 57-year-old to make him so “great” that he could replace him. “I’m going to reign over the WWE as a Wise Man; I’m going to do this, and I will pull this off Paul Heyman if it’s the last thing I do,” he said. Moreover, Stephen Smith was holding Roman’s two championships on both shoulders, imitating Paul Heyman.
Paul Heyman has been the special counsel for the Undisputed Champion, Roman Reigns, since his return in 2020. Evidently, The Bloodline wouldn’t have reached where it did if it weren’t for the advice from the Wise Man. Many fans believe that Stephen Smith could pull off being a manager in the professional wrestling industry due to his charisma and mic skills.
Paul Heyman made controversial remarks about Bobby Heenan

Bobby “The Brain” Heenan is often regarded as one of the most influential figures in professional wrestling. His ability to provoke negative reactions is why he was considered one of the greatest talkers of the Golden Era. Bobby served as a manager and commentator during his time in the industry.
Another personality who seems familiar with Heenan is Paul Heyman. After all, barely anybody comes close to the manager in terms of talking. While appearing on ESPN’s First Take, the current Wise Man claimed himself to be the greatest of all time. Stephen A. Smith, the host, said that, “I mean, it was Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan back then.”
ECW’s creator was quick to rebuff the journalist by saying, “Screw him, he’s dead.” The statement was met with a lot of polarizing opinions online. Some thought it was disrespectful to the legend, while others defended it by insisting that Heenan would have approved of it.
