After making his sensational in-ring return last year, Steve Austin is rumored to compete at Wrestlemania 39 as well. In what would be his second consecutive match, the Texas Rattlesnake needs to have another skilled yet safe opponent to work with. Pretty much similar to what WWE did with putting Kevin Owens against the WWE icon, they’re considering another rising star to get that honor this year.
Yesterday, Xero News provided some update on who that superstar could possibly be. According to their Patreon page, the current United States Champion Austin Theory could be the one. The management visualizes him as a long-term prospect for their company and wants the upstart to identify himself. A feud against one of the all-time greats in Stone Cold can definitely put the 25-year old at the pinnacle of his so-far WWE career.
Although, if WWE avoids moving forward with Theory, they do have another option. In that case, they may have to knock the doors of Baron Corbin, who’s considered one of the best when it comes to working safe. Even back in 2020, when Edge returned at the Royal Rumble, Baron Corbin perfectly executed the Deep six maneuver on Edge, which was the first major bump for the Rated-R Superstar upon return.
However the story fits more perfectly with Austin Theory. As we know, last year at Wrestlemania, Stone Cold stunned Austin Theory in front of his proclaimed Godfather, Vince McMahon. Looking at this, a brilliant storyline can be carved from the mentioned past. At last, it comes down to Triple H and the creative team as to whom they want the limelight on.
Steve Austin is once again in shape of his life

Immediately after wrestling Kevin Owens at Wrestlemania last year, The Texas Rattlesnake felt rejuvenated. Everyone was astonished by the amount of bumps he took during the dream clash. Even after wrestling for the first time in 19 years, he didn’t felt like he lost a step or two.
In fact, their Mania clash is listed amongst Top 10 WWE matches of 2022. Henceforth, the Baddest SOB in this business proved how’s it’s done even after staying away from the league for almost 2 decades. As we head towards the spring now, Mania in Los Angeles is calling.

Amidst the burning rumors of his wrestling return once again, The Hellraiser is defying the odds continuously. One day or the other, The Father of The Attitude Era can be seen posting various workout videos on Instagram. His body is jacked than ever and the legs are ready to kick some more butt.
