The Rock will wrestle at WrestleMania after 8 years, where he teams up with Roman Reigns against the duo of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will wrestle in his first match after 8 years at WrestleMania, where he joins The Tribal Chief in a tag match against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Although fans were excited to see The Great One in the ring once again, they were also concerned about his physicality and stamina. Not only fans, but some WWE legends were also afraid for his well-being after the match due to his shape. 

WWE veterans Stevie Richards and Vince Russo were discussing the segment where The Rock attacked Cody Rhodes. During the conversation on Russo’s The Brand podcast, Richards stated that he noticed that Rocky was just throwing Rhodes around, but whenever he threw a punch, it did not look good. He added that, due to his buffed physique, he couldn’t even land a punch properly.

He said that although fans would cheer for whatever he did, he would be completely exhausted if the match ran for an excessive amount of time. Richards further added that his partner, Roman Reigns, and the opponents, Rhodes and Seth Rollins, would have to carry the match. On last week’s episode of Raw, he destroyed The American Nightmare ahead of their match at WrestleMania.

I just feel like it's gonna be a short match. Reigns, whoever his partner is, is gonna have to carry a lot of the load. And whatever Rocky does do, he can't train properly in the ring to get the timing, the flow, the movement of his body back. He's over. They're gonna go nuts for whatever he does. But I think he's gonna come out of this match with an injury and that's why they don't have him working both nights.

This tag match will be a stipulated one, and the winner will gain an ultimate advantage for the main event of Night 2. If The Rock and Reigns win, his title match against Rhodes will be Bloodline Rules, where anything goes. However, if they don’t, then the whole Bloodline will be barred from the ringside.

Needless to say, the entire wrestling world is excited to see The Rock get into the ring once again at WrestleMania 40. Not only fans, but WWE Superstars are also excited to see the high-profile tag match between The Bloodline and Rollins & Rhodes. They expressed their honest opinions about the winner of this match on social media.

WWE’s official Instagram handle posted a video in which several superstars predicted who would come out on top. Stars like Liv Morgan, Kofi Kingston, and Rhea Ripley felt that the duo of Rhodes and Rollins would win. While The Miz and R-Truth backed The Rock and Reigns to pick up the victory.

The Best in the World CM Punk gave quite an interesting answer and targeted The Visionary by calling him a weak link. Drew McIntyre was just so focused on his world title match that he didn’t care about the winner of this match. The hype and excitement in the wrestling world increase as WrestleMania is just a week away.
