On the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long was asked about the potential return of Nia Jax. While speaking about it with Mac Davis, the WWE veteran had high praise for the former women’s champion. Moreover, Long hilariously revealed that he often flirted with Nia Jax.

The former SmackDown manager further applauded her character and said that she’s beautiful and she “doesn’t take no sh*t” from anybody. Long called her a sweetheart and said that he loves her for being strong enough to protect herself. He revealed that he used to flirt with Nia all the time during his days in WWE.

Furthermore, Teddy Long expressed his support and love for Nia Jax for who she is. Both Mac Davis and Teddy Long spoke on various aspects during their conversation. Teddy Long has a known history with WWE as a referee and as a manager. His period as SmackDown General Manager was always associated with him putting both babyfaces and heels against The Undertaker. It was a memorable time in the history of the company, which is etched in the hearts of the fans.

Nia Jax rumored to make her WWE return

Recently, rumors stirred up about her return as she spoke about a possible bout with Rhea Ripley. While speaking on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Nia Jax hinted at her potential return to the WWE. She spoke about how Ripley is doing a great job and that the latter would need to be “knocked down a couple of pegs.”

Rhea Ripley is currently dominating the women’s division. Therefore, it will be interesting to see the two powerhouses collide if Nia Jax ever returns to the company. It will be an exciting bout, as the current Women’s World Champion has a history with the former RAW Women’s Champion.
