“Maybe I’ll see you in person,” The Rock hints a potential comeback ahead of Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania bout

The Rock teases potential return
The WWE Universe is currently in the midst of WrestleMania. Fans have been expecting The People’s Champ, The Rock, to show up at The Show of Shows at some point. And to the fans’ delight, The Rock might show up at Night 2 of WrestleMania.
Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, recently posted a video on Twitter, talking about WrestleMania and addressing the WWE Universe. He first talked about how the fans are the anchor of WWE superstars and the sole reason they perform in the squared circle. He then talked about WWE NXT, where his daughter Ava Raine made her big debut.
The Great One addressed his fellow performers, praising them for their hard work, and called them his “fellow brothers and sisters of the squared circle”. He told them also to have some fun while entertaining the WWE Universe. Lastly, he addressed his cousins, The Bloodline. He went on to say that he’s excited about all their matches, especially for the main event, Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes. The Rock also teased his potential return to WWE at some point in his tweet. He said:
“I gotta tell you, I’m so excited for not only all the matches but especially the main event with my cousin Roman Reigns, the Universal Champion. And to my family, the entire Bloodline – Jey, Jimmy, Solo – we’re so proud of you guys. Kick ass, electrify SoFi Stadium. Do what you do, it is in our blood. And who knows, maybe, just maybe, down the road, I’ll see you in person. Maybe. I’ll just leave it at that.”
The Great One’s cryptic message left fans wondering. Will he make a surprise appearance at WrestleMania? It is pretty unlikely, considering WWE wouldn’t want to take the spotlight away from Cody Rhodes, who at the moment is set to battle Roman Reigns. The Rock appearing to help Rhodes win, setting up Reigns vs Rock at some point might be the grand idea, but it would take away from Cody’s big moment. Therefore, it is unlikely that fans would see him at this year’s WrestleMania.

What happened to The Rock facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania?
The original plan for The Rock was for him to appear at this year’s Showcase Of The Immortals and face off against his cousin, Roman Reigns. However, plans changed when The Great one pulled out of the match earlier this year due to his busy schedule.
The Tribal Chief vs The People’s Champ at WrestleMania would be a dream match for many. However, it is unlikely to happen very soon. Although The Rock did tease his return sometime down the line, their match has been rumored for a long time. Will the match ever happen? It remains to be seen.
