The Undertaker made the rarest of appearances on NXT this week. There had been teases all around that suggested his arrival on the developmental brand. It finally came to fruition this week on NXT, right in the closing moments of the show. After Bron Breakker lost his match against Carmelo Hayes, the former couldn’t digest the ignominy and went straight after Hayes. But before he could capitalize much, a certain badass arrived on the scene.

That didn’t stop Bron Breakker from talking trash, this time around with The Undertaker. The former NXT Champion asserted that he’s the only badass around NXT. However, the WWE icon was quick to position Breakker for a wicked chokeslam. Taker got on the mic to say that there’s always an older, bigger, and badder badass. That entire exchange between Bron Breakker and The Undertaker was cold and gave an insight into the bright future of WWE.

During the entire chaos in the ring, Carmelo Hayes was keeping an eye on everything. At last, he received a massive endorsement from The Phenom as the 58-year-old raised his hand in front of the raucous chunk at the Performance Center.

It’s safe to assume that even Paul Heyman‘s pep talk wasn’t enough to invoke that burning desire inside Bron Breakker. It was a perfect opportunity for Bron to audition for a potential role in The Bloodline.

It remains to be seen if Paul Heyman gets back to Breakker in some capacity or not. The Wise Man had quite a busy night as he kept exploring for more additions in the Roman Reigns-led stable. That led Paul Heyman to encounter The Rock‘s daughter, Ava Raine, during a backstage segment. Heyman was seemingly talking Bloodline biz with her.

The Undertaker previously appeared on WWE television in January

Ever since getting into the WWE Hall of Fame, The Undertaker has become a once-in-a-blue-moon occurring. His ever-so-rare appearance on NXT wouldn’t have come had there been no head-to-head competition with AEW Dynamite. He last appeared way back in January of this year, when WWE commemorated 30 years of Monday Night Raw.

He interrupted LA Knight to bring back the American Badass gimmick after a long time. The Megastar had seen a ghost, and he astutely rolled out of the ring as Taker displaced him. But Knight didn’t stop there, as he kept firing the cannons until the late Bray Wyatt made his entrance. That forced Knight to run towards the ring, and that chase ended when Taker caught Knight.

At first, The Reaper appeared as if he were to deliver a chokeslam to LA Knight. However, he did the right thing and let Wyatt do the honors. The segment came to a close when Taker and Wyatt came face-to-face and Undertaker whispered something into Bray’s ear to end the entire sequence.
