WWE is hosting multiple live events on the Road to WrestleMania. The recent event went down in Palm Springs where various Superstars including Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, The Judgment Day, and more appeared. In the event, Jey Uso got his Raw rematch against Gunther. What shocked the WWE Universe was the outcome of the match.

Since Jey Uso is a babyface, WWE Universe was rooting for Ucey Juicy to win the match. Unfortunately, The Champ got the better of him and handed him a loss. This was the first loss Uso got at a live event. Before this, Uso lost to Drew McIntyre at a house show in December last year.

It comes as no surprise although WWE nixed their plans before their first encounter on Raw. Titles barely change hands at a live event. The main objective of the house shows is for WWE Universe to witness their favorite Superstars live. It seems Jey will have to wait for another title shot after coming up short yet again.

Since Jey Uso left The Bloodline and joined Raw, he has become one of the biggest babyfaces on Raw. Recently, Jey was seen feuding with Gunther after reigniting his long-time rivalry with Drew McIntyre. Uso fought Gunther at Raw weeks ago for the Intercontinental Title and lost due to Jimmy Uso interfering in the match. However, he got another chance to settle the score with The Ring General.

Gunther breaks character to mock Jey Uso by doing his hand gesture

The Ring General likes to troll the WWE Universe by mocking his opponents. During his match with the 38-year-old Superstar, Gunther reached the top turnbuckle and started waving his hands. He mocked Jey’s up-and-down hand gesture synching to his song during his entrance.

It was surprising to witness The 36-year-old Superstar break character which is a sight to behold. At live events, Superstars are more relaxed and interact properly with the WWE Universe. This is possible since TV programming is not involved and Superstars are not obliged to maintain strictness towards their character work.

The Intercontinental Champion got the crowd hyped by doing the same dance he did not allow Pat McAfee to do on Raw. In a similar fashion, six female wrestlers including Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Iyo Sky were chasing each other down in the same live event. This caught the attention of the WWE Universe and forced them to burst out in laughter.
