Logan Paul has been making waves ever since his arrival at WWE. He successfully captured the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023 by defeating Rey Mysterio in a hard-hitting contest. WWE CCO Triple H broke his silence on The Maverick winning his first title in WWE just after 8 matches.

Just after the match between Mysterio and Paul at Crown Jewel, Triple H took to X to congratulate the brand new champion. He not only appreciated the performance exhibited by The Maverick but also pointed towards his title victory. The Game said that Logan Paul has cemented his legacy in sports entertainment.

His bout against Rey Mysterio had indeed brought the fans to the edge of their seats. There were multiple amazing high-flying spots. The Maverick also took the match to a greater height with his heel persona and storytelling skills. Needless to say, Logan Paul knows the ingredients that make a successful WWE Superstar.

While the direction of his title reign remains unknown, his battle with Rey Mysterio was one of the best performances of the PPV. It’s safe to say that the Maverick not only knows how to call the shots but also knows how to own them. It would be interesting to see how Logan handles the weight of this title on his shoulders.

As much as it has shocked the fans that the Maverick managed to defeat Rey Mysterio, they were further shocked when Triple H congratulated him on his fabulous win. Fans immediately began reacting to this on ‘X’.

The fans were quite vocal about the dynamics of the match. While some praised the booking decisions of Triple H, others were simply disheartened over the fact that, again, a part-timer is holding a mid-card title. Many even called out The Maverick for his underhanded tactics. Nevertheless, there were some who appreciated his efforts. It would be interesting to see, despite all such apprehensions, how Logan Paul would handle his title reign.
