The current Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, showed why she’s one of the best superstars in WWE. She defeated Nia Jax in a fantastic match that had the crowd at the edge of their seats. It was a proud moment for her as she celebrated her victory with her family and fans.

Not just her family, but WWE CCO, Triple H was also proud of her, as he congratulated her on social media. Hunter took to X and congratulated the 27-year-old for retaining the title, saying it was one of the biggest nights of her career. Although with the good wishes, Triple H also reminded her of the next and final stop for her legendary title reign, WrestleMania.

The match was intense, as both superstars tried to destroy each other with dangerous moves. Rhea delivered a Superplex from the top rope and Jax pulled out the Samoan drop on the announcement table from her arsenal. Finally, the 27-year-old star managed to beat the Irresistible Force by hitting a Riptide.

Although Mami is now enjoying the win with her loved ones, she has to focus on the opponent she has never beaten. Becky Lynch won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match and challenged Rhea for the title at WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see how their rivalry unfolds in the upcoming weeks.

Rhea Ripley gave an emotional reply to the fans after her win at Elimination Chamber

It was certainly a huge night for Rhea Ripley, as she retained her title by defeating Nia Jax in the main event of the Chamber. Although she is a heel and one of the toughest superstars in the company, fans saw a completely different side of Mami as she was overwhelmed by the support fans showed her.

During the backstage interview after the win, the 27-year-old showed her emotional side. She expressed her true feelings and said she was overwhelmed by the crowd’s reaction. Rhea admitted that she always tried not to let the crowd’s reaction affect her. However, she couldn’t control her emotions as they cheered for her. 

It's hard to put into words exactly how special this is, to be honest. I am still so taken aback by the crowd reaction, actually seeing my family out there. To be completely honest, at the very end when I had that extra time to myself, I let it fully soak in. It was a wholesome moment for me.

The Eradicator was focused on her next and possibly biggest opponent of her career, Becky Lynch. Rhea stated that although she had never beaten Becky, she warned her to be at her best at WrestleMania. Only time will tell whether Rhea retains her title or whether The Man will put an end to her title reign.
