After weeks of tension between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, the two stars finally stood face-to-face against each other. The American Nightmare was advertised to make a WrestleMania decision at the Kickoff show. However, the event had a wild ending, which led to many being confused regarding the main event. Now, Triple H has posted a confirmation on the main event for WrestleMania.
Following the Kickoff show, The Game posted a graphic of Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes on X. He officially announced that The American Nightmare is going to go up against The Tribal Chief at the Show of Shows in Philadelphia. The King of Kings also added that the match is going to be the main event of WrestleMania XL.
The ending of the WrestleMania Kickoff Show was chaotic. It all went down when The Rock slapped Cody Rhodes. The closing moments saw the superstars having a violent confrontation. The main event picture of WrestleMania is yet to be cleared, as the future of Seth Rollins and The People’s Champion is still up in the air.

It is a huge moment for Cody Rhodes and his fans, as they have surely gotten what they wanted. After Triple H announced the main event of WrestleMania 40, Rhodes expeditiously reacted to the announcement with an interesting message, which certainly raised the stakes for the battle.
The American Nightmare replied to Triple H’s post. He implicitly stated that he was up to putting everything on the line against Roman Reigns in order to finish his story. These few words certainly hold a deep meaning behind them, as they mean Rhodes will be going all out to finish his story.
It is going to be a huge match for the American Nightmare. He has worked hard for over a year to get this opportunity. However, it is highly possible that Rhodes might defeat Reigns at WrestleMania to finally finish his story by winning the WWE Championship in Philadelphia.
