Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark ambushed Becky Lynch on Raw
The unholy alliance of Trish Stratus & Zoey Stark has already started to pay-off. Last night on Raw, the newly formed duo unleashed themselves over an outnumbered Becky Lynch. To start things, Trish cut a promo bragging about her greatness and her cheap win over Lynch at Night of Champions. Amidst of a chorus of the piped-in boos, she introduced Zoey Stark.
The recently drafted Raw superstar from NXT justified her pairing with the WWE Hall of Famer. Stark argued how she could’ve chosen the long and traditional path to mark her ascend to the top. However, using her wrestling brain, the 29-year-old decided to play smart and joined forces with the GOAT – Trish Stratus. Their thanksgiving ceremony was cut short by an irate Becky Lynch.
She offered Stratus to restart their affair from Jeddah in a singles match on Raw. However, the 6-time Women’s Champion ordered Zoey to guard her. Obeying the marching orders, Stark went out to neutralize Lynch, only to get punched in the face. Momentarily after, The Man finally got her hands over Stratus. But, as stayed above, the numbers advantage landed in the favour of heels.
Stark & Stratus quickly gained control over the situation and started unloading themselves over a defenceless Becky Lynch. The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Stark executed her finishing maneuver Z-630 over Big Time Becks to put the nail in the coffin. At last, the formidable duo placed a ‘Thank You Trish’ tee over the lifeless body of Becky in the corner. You can watch the entire turmoil below.

What’s the long-term goal for Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus?
For sure, there’s a second match in the pipeline between Stratus and Lynch. Most likely at SummerSlam in August, these two generations will collide once again in a full-fledged battle. As for Lynch’s disdain with Zoey Stark, the former will get her shot at retaliation in London. As seen last night, WWE has announced Becky Lynch vs. Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark vs. Natalya as the Money in the Bank qualifiers for next week.
Common sense says both Lynch and Stark will advance for Money in the Bank after winning their respective matches. In an environment where competitors will be surrounded by dangerous ladders, Becky and Zoey can settle their differences. Also, there’s a good chance that Trish Stratus will too make her presence known in London in some capacity. At present, there are endless possibilities as to how WWE propels the next chapter between Lynch & Stratus.
