The Quintessential WWE Diva Trish Stratus is one of the greatest WWE superstars. Her recent extended run in 2023 started as a tag team and she ended up being a singles star on Raw. Now that a significant amount of time has passed since her last match, Stratus is looking forward to her return this July. This year, Money in the Bank is going to Toronto, Canada, on the 5-6-7 July weekend.

In a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, Trish mentioned that she is open to hitting the rings provided that she delivers a unique story. Stratus stated that she likes to add a unique approach and make things different and interesting. She always looks forward to ticking all those boxes and then entering the ring.

Implicitly, Trish promised her fans that her run would always have put her at her very best. She mentioned that her performance always sees her at 100% and she never finds excuses.

I also say, as long as I can go 100%. I’m never gonna come back and be like, ‘Listen, I’m gonna do this, but I’m only at like 60%, so I’m gonna do only like half my moves.
Trish Stratus about her work ethics

The seven-time women’s champion has had an illustrious career in the Attitude Era. But her recent run was highly praised. Her rivalry with Becky Lynch stretched over the Summer of 2023, culminating at Payback. With a respectful loss, she got those cheers for giving her best in the Steel Cage. A potential return is expected after WrestleMania 40 or directly at Money in the Bank Toronto 2024.

Trish Stratus claims her Becky Lynch rivalry to be a generational face-off

During the same interview with Inside The Ropes, Trish Stratus would like to advance someone with her presence. Her previous run put forth NXT star Zoey Stark as her protege against the likes of Becky Lynch. The moment it occurred, Trish was worried about whether it made sense or not.

She cited that her comeback and working with Stark was a great experience, as they added another layer. Lynch did not need Stratus’ rub, as it anyway made up an interesting feud. A fantasy matchup between them was nothing less than a generational face-off, which nobody expected at this point in both stars’ careers.

Becky don’t need my rub, you know what I mean? But it was an interesting feud, and it was a fantasy matchup, a generational faceoff, unique, and you’d never think you could see that, and you got to see that, so that was great, so I checked that box.

Their first match happened at Night of Champions 2023, where Trish picked up the win with Stark’s help. On the August 14, 2023, episode of Raw, their second battle resulted in a double count-out. But to culminate their feud, The Man closed on with her win in a Steel Cage match at Payback 2023.
