This year’s WrestleMania is one of the most hyped and much-awaited events in the history of WWE. The one particular match everybody is talking about is the well-built main event, Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns. One of the key players in the “long game” is none other than WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson. 

The conversations and discussions surrounding this storyline are not limited to wrestling fans. It has created a worldwide buzz among some other sports too, as Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton weighed his opinion on the entire situation. He was a guest on The Pat McAfee Show and talked about the specific conundrum involving The Rock and Cody.

Although Tyrese wants The American Nightmare to finish the story, he wanted a different version of Rocky on the screen. He has pitched an idea to see Hollywood Rock with his iconic leather vest, glasses, and the heel persona he adopted in 2003 return after two decades.

I think so... we talk about it pretty regularly. Everybody comes to me the updates- I am a big WWE guy. I do want him to finish the story. I hope that we get Hollywood Rock back. Can we get the theme song back? The Guitar? Wear the leather west? I need all of that.

The 51-year-old shocked everyone when he turned heel and slapped Cody during the WrestleMania XL press conference. The Great One and The Tribal Chief joined hands in the name of family and The Bloodline. It will be interesting to see whether the Royal Rumble winner finally finishes the story or whether The Rock plays an important part in this historic rivalry.

The Rock sends a message to the WWE Universe before his appearance on SmackDown

The World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins set aside his differences with Cody Rhodes and finally told him to finish his story on this week’s episode of Raw. Now, The Bloodline duo of Roman Reigns and The Rock will make an appearance on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. However, before that, The Brahma Bull sent a message ahead of their anticipated segment.

The Rock took to X and told Salt Lake City to brace themselves as they announced their appearance at the Delta Center for SmackDown. As it is now confirmed that Roman will defend his title against Cody at WrestleMania, fans are excited to see what The Great One’s role will be in this storyline.

According to some reports, Rollins, Cody, and Reigns will pull double duty at the Show of Shows. WWE released a WrestleMania XL teaser with Rock and Roman facing off against Cody and Rollins. It will be interesting to see whether that leads to them having a tag match at WrestleMania or not.
