This might be a polarizing topic to discuss. A section of fans has been clamoring for the WWE return of Tyson Fury. Last seen at Clash at the Castle past September, the Gypsy King is away from WWE owing to some immigration issues. The company had some massive plans for the legendary boxer at this year’s Royal Rumble. However, nothing came to fruition after Fury got stuck in visa formalities.

It’s pretty vague at the moment whether Tyson Fury would be able to make WrestleMania this year or not. The WWE higher-esques definitely wants that to happen. As part of their strategy, the Stamford-based promotion has majorly emphasized on bringing the maestros of their respective domains on-board.

Fury recently sat down for an interview with Give Me Sport where the pound-for-pound great shed some light on his return to WWE. Manifesting for another Clash at the Castle event in the United Kingdom, The Gypsy King still possesses a burning desire to face Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed Championship.

“I’m hoping to get back in there soon. They’re doing Clash at the Castle 2 soon I think so I’m looking at maybe getting back in there. I’m looking at taking that heavyweight title for sure. If Roman Reigns vacates or something then maybe me and Drew can finally get that battle on.”

At Clash at the Castle last year, Roman Reigns squared off against Drew McIntyre. In a match that can be revisited for ages to come, The Tribal Chief overcame the hometown hero. That’s exactly where the world witnessed the main-roster debut of Solo Sikoa, who cost McIntyre the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

After the match was over, Reigns met a special guest. Tyson Fury, who watched the entire show as a fan, stood in Reigns’ tracks for a while. However, they eventually shook hands and The Head of the Table walked away. Many fans thought that it was done to plant the seeds for a future showdown between these two masters of their game.

Following that, McIntyre and Fury did the unthinkable and sang the entire crowd to joy and happiness. Over 60,000 at the Principality Stadium looked at some really great stuff unfold that night. WWE will once again tour UK this July for their Money in the Bank premium-live-event.
