This week’s SmackDown was also about The Rock and Roman Reigns‘ return to the show. WWE was building hype for the main event throughout the show. As fans had high expectations for the main event, it fell short of delivering up to the mark. Fans fired back at Triple H following SmackDown after an underwhelming promo from The Rock.

The Brahma Bull got only 10 minutes for a promo. It was a disenchantment for the WWE Universe, as they had high expectations of the main event. Besides, people also complained about Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio getting over 20 minutes for their lackluster match-up. Moreover, WWE hyped up the crowd throughout the show for the return of the People’s Champion. However, he received less than ten minutes to interact with the crowd, which was a disappointment.

During the promo, The Rock addressed the ongoing situation with Cody Rhodes. He went on to vow that he would annihilate the dreams of the American Nightmare at WrestleMania. Although the promo was powerful, however, it felt incomplete to some extent due to the shortage of time. Fans have been anticipating the return of the People’s Champion on SmackDown ever since his actions at WrestleMania Kickoff.

Moreover, the Rock has joined the Bloodline, which has certainly excited the fans for what’s to come next.
