The WWE superstars and fans are getting ready for an exciting Royal Rumble event this Saturday. As is tradition, the event will feature one men’s and one women’s Royal Rumble match. The winners of both matches will get to fight for their respective world titles at WrestleMania. Two superstars who aren’t afraid to reveal their plans to the whole world are Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio.

On WWE’s official YouTube account, the fans got to see the Judgment Day members practicing for the big match this weekend. Rhea Ripley, being the more experienced one, took it upon herself to train Dominik Mysterio for his first Royal Rumble match. She taught him how to eliminate her opponents and warned him about the possible threats.

Taking a shot at his father, Dominik Mysterio said, “He’s never helped me when it comes to the Royal Rumble, especially because he’s one of the longest-lasting wrestlers in there. No, he’s never given me a word of advice about it.” Rhea Ripley added insult to injury saying, “Of Course, I am more qualified to teach Dominik than Rey Mysterio is. Rey lets his feelings get in the way. The only way to teach someone how to do things is to throw emotion out the window.”

Ripley points out how she nearly won the 2021 Royal Rumble match, getting eliminated in last place. She asserts that she is a much different and better person than two years ago. The Australian superstar declared she would not repeat the same mistake and win the whole thing this time. This was followed by Dominik giving her insights on the men’s match and proclaiming the same.

Both superstars will be part of their respective Royal Rumble matches this Saturday. While the stars are shining bright for Rhea, the chances of Dominik winning his match look bleak. The former NXT women’s champion has been rumored to win the match since December. According to some reports, the current WrestleMania plan is to have Rhea Ripley go up against Becky Lynch for the Raw women’s championship. Hence, Bianca Belair will lose the title to one of them on the road to WrestleMania.

Dominik has been an effective heat magnet ever since he turned on his father in September. Recently, he has added a pretentious criminal persona to his very amusing character. On Raw’s 30th anniversary show, he teamed up with Damian Priest to go against the Usos for the Raw tag team championship. While he might not win the men’s Royal Rumble match, the fans will get to see him getting face-to-face with his father. As things stand, Dominik might fight his father, Rey Mysterio, at the Grandest Stage of Them All. The WWE Legend might be on his last run in professional wrestling, and a match against his son will be a dream for both of them.
