WrestleMania XL saw the collapse of the Roman Empire in WWE. Cody Rhodes brought out the best in himself as he crafted the war to end the title reign of Roman Reigns. As much as the American Nightmare was responsible for the fall of the Tribal Chief, another man who had an equal contribution was Seth Rollins. There has been constant speculation in the minds of the fans that it was the drive to take revenge against the Visionary that cost the title to the Head of the Table.

It is a well-known fact that Roman Reigns was still upset with the fact that Seth Rollins was the man who broke The Shield in 2014. Therefore, when the Tribal Chief got the chair in his hands at WrestleMania, he decided to get his revenge on the Visionary rather than focusing on Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare needed only that brief moment to get the upper hand and snap away the title from The Needle Mover.

Everything in the main event of WrestleMania XL was poetic, as after ten long years, ‘The Shield’ became the reason for the fall of the tribal chief. Besides, Rollins also fulfilled his promise of being the shield for the Royal Rumble winner. In essence, it was peak storytelling as WWE made sure that even the smallest of things affected the match big time.

Furthermore, Reigns was also smiling while Cody went for the pin, which makes it even more interesting to think that he was happy for the American Nightmare. Some rumors suggest that he might take on the Final Boss, The Rock, at WrestleMania next year. It will be the final chapter of the Bloodline after almost 5 years of dominance in WWE.

Furthermore, there are a lot of dream matches for The Needle Mover in the future. He might collide with CM Punk or some new stars from NXT for a while. He already has a Hall of Fame career in WWE.
