At Survivor Series, the Chicago crowd was so happy to witness the return of their beloved star, CM Punk, after nine long years. But the crowd was happy for one more reason: another return. Viper Randy Orton returned last night as the fifth member of Cody Rhodes’s team and received a warm reception.
After the show ended, one fan shared a video clip in which Randy greeted as many fans as he could in attendance who missed him when he was out with an injury. Fans loved this gesture of his and acknowledged that he is truly one of the greatest of all time. Although he generally portrayed a bad guy, he has had funny fan interactions and moments. Even after the show ended, Orton stayed 20 more minutes just to meet his fans, showing how grateful and humble he was.
Randy has returned in probably the best shape of his life. Throughout the whole show, there was speculation whether he would return or not, as he was still not available in the arena when the Men’s WarGames match started. WWE baited the fans when Rhea Ripley‘s music hit instead of Orton’s, as she ran down the ring with the Money in the Bank briefcase in her hand. But as she was just about to cash in, The Viper’s music hit, and the crowd erupted to finally see their beloved wrestler after one and a half years.
Just as he was leaving the arena, Randy seemingly mentioned he would be in WWE for 10 more years. Now, with Orton’s return, he can be part of so many rivalries and feuds with this bunch of upcoming stars. WWE just announced that he is scheduled for tomorrow’s episode of Monday Night Raw. It will be interesting to see what will be the first big step for The Viper after his fantastic return.
Rhea Ripley sends a message to Randy Orton after Survivor Series
After Randy Orton’s return, all of Judgment Day was in shock, including Rhea Ripley. But she sent a cryptic message directed towards The Viper after the show. It seems that Mami is not afraid to go toe-to-toe with Orton.
One fan shared a video in which a young Rhea Ripley performed a move cutter similar to Orton’s iconic RKO. The caption said, “Randy Orton is not ready, I fear,” to which Rhea replied, “I hear voices.” This implies that she does not fear Orton, but Orton might not be ready to face Mami yet.
Fans were so irritated when Rhea used to interfere in men’s matches and attack male wrestlers. They have openly said that when Orton returns, Rhea will receive an RKO. Rhea also replied to this and simply denied that Orton couldn’t hit an RKO on her. Nonetheless, now that Orton is featured on next week’s Raw, fans could witness the confrontation between these two superstars.
