One of the most engaging rivalries came to an end this WrestleMania, as Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defeated The Usos and put an end to their title run.

On last night’s WrestleMania, things came full circle for the best friends in the city of Los Angeles. Zayn and Owens had been feuding with The Usos for some weeks now and their rivalry came to an epic conclusion last night. It all started when Sami Zayn turned his back on The Bloodline by attacking Roman Reigns with a steel chair. Since then, he joined forces with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, who were also feuding with the villainous stable. It all led to this moment, where Sami Zayn pinned Jey Uso to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

Zayn and Owens appeared in a press conference following their championship win. After the match, Owens said something to Zayn. In the conference, he revealed what he said:

“I’ll say what we said at the top of the ramp. After everything set in, we walked up the ramp, and we turned around and saw the sea of people and I said to him, ‘none of this would happen without Super Dragon and PWG.’ Which is where we made our name here in California, and without the opportunities that he gave us, I don’t think that things would have turned out like that for us”.

Los Angeles is a city that means a lot to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. According to Owens, they wouldn’t have been able to get where they are now without the help of Super Dragon and PWG. Owens then went on to praise their opponents, The Usos. He said that both Jey and Jimmy are one of the best and most underappreciated teams out there.

It’s no wonder that both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have a huge amount of respect for The Usos. All four superstars delivered one of the best matches of the night. Now, Owens and Zayn entrust the rest of their mission to Cody Rhodes, who is set to face The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns on WrestleMania Night 2.

Sami Zayn was asked how he felt about not only getting to share the moment with Kevin Owens but to have another championship match at Mania. He said that his win with Kevin Owens was his “second WrestleMania moment”. He further said that he was lucky to have experienced both and compared his two moments with having many kids that you’re proud of. Zayn also compared them to apples and oranges, and how lucky he was to get to eat both of them.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens reuniting was definitely a special moment in WWE history. Owens was infamous for betraying his “best friends” but this time, it seems to be different. Zayn and Owens put their differences aside and managed to end the historical run of The Usos. It looks like their newly reformed friendship is here to stay for good.

With Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens beating The Usos, there is only one thing left to end their rivalry. And that is, for Cody Rhodes to dethrone Roman Reigns on Night 2. Who do you think will win? The Tribal Chief or The American Nightmare? Stay tuned to find out!
