In an incredible twist, The Rock will likely face the current Undisputed WWE Universa Champion Roman Reings at WrestleMania. While some fans are happy that The Great One has come back and gone face-to-face with his cousin, others are not sharing the same feeling. After the faceoff, The Rock addressed the WWE Universe and cut a promo.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, the 51-year-old thanked all the people in attendance. He further said that the fans from Birmingham, Alabama, have made history and claimed that he loves them. Evidently, the fans were so excited to see The Rock as they cheered after every word he uttered.

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes confronted Roman Reigns and revealed that he would fight him for the title but not at WrestleMania, shocking all the fans. Cody then hinted that the person he took advice from knew Roman ‘very well.’ Amidst all the anticipation, The Rock’s music hit, and the whole arena was fired up.

Recently, The Rock joined the TKO Board of Directors, leading fans to speculate that he would have something to do at WrestleMania 40. Subsequently, their speculation turned out to be true, as he is seemingly set to fight his cousin, Roman, in the main event of WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the upcoming weeks. 

Summer Rae expresses her frustration after The Rock came face-to-face with Roman Reigns

On the latest episode of SmackDown, The Rock challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania. The whole wrestling community is in shock right now and expressing their different opinions on social media. One of them is former WWE star Summer Rae, who was quite frustrated with the decision.

The 40-year-old star took to X and was seemingly livid with the decision of The Rock facing off with Roman. She further added that it made no sense for Cody to win the Royal Rumble and just hand over the WrestleMania match to The Rock. 

Imagine handing over your WrestleMania match that you beat 29 other ppl for... AFTER a two year build. I'm all for twists & turns but make it make sense! Gosh I hope we are ALL wrong. I hope it all make sense next Fri in a Rock Roman promo, that is if either of them show up on tv.

Summer took another dig at both the megastars, mentioning that they should show up on TV more to make the storyline more sensical. The wrestling community praised her for speaking up and addressing how unfair the situation is for Cody Rhodes.
