My only regret of the whole thing with Rock is in 2000, we were poised to have a match at WrestleMania one-on-one. I think that would’ve been an epic thing for both of us in that moment,” said Triple H. The Rock had won the 2000 Royal Rumble and HHH had won the Heavyweight Championship. The match between the two winners would turn out to be amazing.

It was expected that the two would face each other at SummerSlam but eventually, the Singles match turned into a Triple Match which also included Kurt Angle. This officially ended the rivalry between HHH and the Rock. Triple H is regretting over the fact that he couldn’t face the Rock in a singles match at a main event.

The two were also not the best players in the company. The Undertaker was the most liked personality who went against ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. It was obvious that if the Undertaker and Steve will face each other, Triple H and the Rock will be taken out of the limelight. For this reason, the two planned to have a match later but the schedules of the two couldn’t match owing to the Rock stuck in his Hollywood timings and Triple H in his WWE management.
