Talking to Jamie Foxx on OFF SCRIPT, Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson reveals why he is so good with his fans. Everyone, including Foxx, appreciated the calm behaviour that Dwayne has with his fans, whereas most other celebrities pay no attention to them. He acknowledges that the relationship he has with his fans is the most important.
“I reached a point in my career where I was tired of trying to be something I wasn’t,” said Dwayne Johnson. When he stepped into the world of entertainment and started working on his Hollywood projects, he was asked to drop his in-ring name of ‘The Rock.’ Additionally, he was asked to quit his workout routine so as to stop being so huge and muscular. All these things weren’t feasible for him, so he fought for his passion.
Despite the fact that it was a difficult decision, Dwayne Johnson bore it all and accepted that the two things had to happen at the same time. He went ahead to find a different group of people and management who gave him the liberty to be who he really was. He also freed people to call him ‘The Rock’ if they wanted to.

The Great One is very proud of the ring name he had during the latter half of his tenure with WWE. Starting his WWE journey with the name of ‘Rocky Maivia,’ Dwyane Johnson couldn’t work wonders. He was on the verge of quitting wrestling when he gave it another shot and changed himself to ‘The Rock‘.
This was not just a gimmick change; it altered Dwayne Johnson’s career path. The Rock then went on to become a 10-time world champion. During his WWE run that lasted over 20 years, The Rock was able to make a global identity for himself.
