Bianca Belair is one of the most popular and talented female wrestlers in WWE today. She had a pretty unique trademark, that is, her ginormous hair. She stood apart from everyone on both NXT’s and WWE’s main rosters. However, as revealed recently, the EST of WWE almost hacked off her hair once.

Within her two years on the main roster, Bianca Belair has risen to the top. She is a two-time RAW Women’s Champion. Her popularity among the fans even matches the likes of the previous four horsewomen in WWE.

In addition to her in-ring skills and explosive strength, what really made her stand out was her almost Rapunzel-like hair. The EST revealed that she almost cut off her signature long hair, but was thankfully stopped by her husband before doing so.

Speaking with actor/comedian Kevin Hart on Cold as Balls, The EST of WWE revealed that once she almost cut off her braids. Thankfully, her husband, Montez Ford, who is a part of the tag team The Street Profits, talked her out of it. This incident took place in NXT and Belair talks about how that one move would’ve drastically altered her career.

“My husband, who I met in WWE, Montez Ford, he’s one half of the Street Profits, a tag team, he’s been watching wrestling since he was in his momma’s womb. He was the one that talked me into keeping the braid. He was like ‘if somebody comes to a show for the first time, they’ll remember the girl with the braid.’”

Thankfully, Montez Ford was able to talk Belair out of it, and fans would rather not think about how Belair’s career would have changed due to this one choice. Fans have seen Belair even use her hair as a weapon in several matches, using it as a whip. And she used it very well. Shayna Baszler, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks were all victims of her whip-like hair. It even caused an injury to Baszler that took weeks to heal.

WWE often incorporates real-life couples into their storylines, which might result in either a really interesting one or a straight-up disastrous story that would end up damaging the couples’ real-life affairs. However, that is not the case with Bianca Belair and her husband, Montez Ford.

Despite being a real-life married couple, Belair and Ford are yet to share the screen together, except for that one time when Belair made her main roster debut. Bianca Belair went on to explain how she and her husband wanted to keep things private and sacred. Both superstars are in their own storylines, and it’s probably for the best for the two superstars.
