The Bloodline saga continued on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, and Jey Uso appeared on the show. However, fans are wondering why Jey’s brother, Jimmy Uso, did not accompany him to combat against Solo. During last week’s opening segment, Jimmy Uso was taken out by Sikoa and Roman Reigns.
The two destroyed Jimmy Uso to the point where he was taken out of the arena on a stretcher. It looked like Jimmy would be out for a long time, as his condition did not look good. During the latest episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole gave updates about Jimmy’s condition. Cole revealed that the former Tag Team Champion suffered a torn rib cartilage. He is expected to be out of action for the foreseeable future.
In the last episode, Jey Uso went to the hospital with his brother at the show’s beginning. However, he returned to the main event and confronted the Tribal Chief and Solo about the attack. Jey was furious and blasted Solo Sikoa with a steel chair as Roman Reigns tried to run away. After the beatdown, Jey Uso cut a passionate promo and challenged the Tribal Chief to a match.
Roman Reigns looked worried as his family broke down in front of him. There has been no response to Jey’s challenge from Reigns yet. However, it is expected that Reigns and Uso will face each other at SummerSlam this year. Jimmy Uso’s injury should not affect the plans of the match, as all four members of the family played important roles in the storyline, which had been going on for over a year.
