Cody Rhodes left no stone unturned and decided to give it back to The Rock with some harsh words. Rhodes threw many insults at The Great One in his promo, retaliating for the latter’s comments on the blue brand. However, it looks like fans aren’t happy with one specific insult he threw at Rocky. 

The 38-year-old Superstar came out on the latest episode of Raw and didn’t hold back from throwing some insults at The Rock at all. From accusing him of having a “little d**k syndrome” to calling the 51-year-old Roman Reigns‘ side chick, Rhodes was relentless. The remark gained quite some negative feedback from fans online.

The Wiseman Paul Heyman interrupted The American Nightmare and struck a deal with him. He proposed that Roman Reigns would appear on the upcoming SmackDown, and he would come without The Bloodline. However, if The Tribal Chief arrives without any backup, Rhodes would have to adhere to the same. As such, the 38-year-old shook hands with Heyman and accepted the deal.

Despite that, chaos is ensured when two of the company’s biggest stars come face-to-face on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Meanwhile, The Rock is scheduled to appear on April 1 on the last episode of Raw before WrestleMania. Only time will tell what transpires in the upcoming weeks, as the Show of Shows is just three weeks away. 

The WWE Universe had mixed reactions on Cody Rhodes’ insults-filled promo on The Rock

It looks like Cody Rhodes‘ “side chick” insult to The Rock and Roman Reigns didn’t sit well with fans. The American Nightmare did throw some heavy insults at The Great One, which created a lot of buzz and hype around their rivalry. However, fans have a very divided opinion towards the specific remark, claiming that it was an unnecessary “incest” insult.

One fan wasn’t impressed by his promo at all and asked if that’s the best he could come up with. Another fan’s reaction was the total opposite, as he loved Rhodes’ promo and found it funny. Here are some of the top reactions from fans: 

Some fans supported The Rock by saying he destroyed Rhodes on the mic and that the latter couldn’t step up to The Great One’s pedestal. Other fans were confused and asked a really relatable question about the storyline, as it felt like Rhodes had a rivalry with The Rock, not Reigns. Overall, the fans had a pretty mixed reaction to his promo but are heavily invested in this storyline nonetheless.
