“F***ing perfect,” Wrestling veteran hails Sami Zayn as the perfect opponent for Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber

The WWE Universe has seen the rise of Sami Zayn in recent times. The Honorary Uce remained a part of the Bloodline and provided some of the most incredible segments on SmackDown. However, Zayn turned on The Bloodline at the Royal Rumble after finding himself in a quandary. It gave rise to a new rivalry between Sami and Roman. As a result, it led to a match between the two of them at the Elimination Chamber. Furthermore, WWE legend Jim Cornette supported the idea and called it a perfect decision by the company.

Former WWE commentator Jim Cornette, on his latest edition of The Jim Cornette Experience, spoke about the company’s decision. He said that Sami Zayn has been overlooked his entire career and no one has ever valued him. Now that Zayn is the hottest topic in the company, WWE should cash in on that opportunity and give Zayn the spotlight. Furthermore, because The Elimination Chamber is taking place in Montreal, he believes it is the ideal venue for Sami vs. Roman to take place in front of his home crowd. “This is perfect. We were talking about should Sami vs. Roman be at WrestleMania, no, they’re never gonna do that one. But Sami and Roman in Montreal is f***g perfect,” said Cornette.

At the Royal Rumble, Sami Zayn’s final test required him to sabotage his former best friend. Zayn, who still had some empathy for Kevin Owens, found himself in a dilemma. However, the Honorary Uce turned on the Tribal Chief and stood up for himself and his friend. That moment saw one of the loudest reactions the WWE Universe has ever heard in wrestling. Around 50,000 people were screaming as loudly as possible. The bloodline imploded as the Honorary Uce betrayed Reigns. As a result, Zayn was brutally destroyed. Therefore, it culminated in the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

The Elimination Chamber 2023 is taking place in Montreal, Zayn’s hometown. Therefore, WWE veteran Jim Cornette believes this is the perfect stage to give the Canadian star his spotlight, considering how hot he is at the moment. Moreover, the fans are rooting for him to win the Undisputed Universal Championship by dethroning Roman Reigns.
