WWE and UFC set to amalgamate under a new name following their official merger under Endeavor
The WWE-UFC merger has resulted in them taking on a new name to be showcased on the stock listing.

After months of confidential meetings and negotiations with various entities, Vince McMahon sold WWE to UFC’s parent company, Endeavor. The two wrestling giants, UFC and WWE, will come under the same umbrella with a new name. Moreover, it was revealed that the company will be listed under a different name on the stock market.
According to a recent report from CNBN, it will go by the name “TKO Group Holdings.” Ari Emanuel, who is currently the CEO of the UFC’s parent company, will preside as the CEO of the new group as well On the other hand, Vince McMahon will assume the role of executive Chairman. The Board of Directors will have eleven members, five each from WWE and UFC.
According to a recent filing, the company is still operating under the name “New Whale Inc.” It appears that the name will change as soon as the anticipated Endeavor deal merger becomes official. The WWE-UFC merger is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Ringside News reported that Endeavor will accrue the majority stake, i.e. 51%. UFC and WWE are two of the biggest companies in the industry. Therefore, the merger of two wrestling giants will usher in a new phase in sports entertainment.
