WWE legend shares Shane McMahon’s DUMB incident after being hospitalized

Shane McMahon had some extreme matches in his whole career. He is known for how high he jumps and how big bumps he takes in his matches. And one such match was against Kurt Angle at King of the Ring 2001, where Shane O’Mac and Angle took each other to their absolute limits.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle who recently commented on the legendary match. Kurt had an interview session with SportsKeeda in which he revealed how both men had suffered injuries and were admitted to the hospital the same night.

Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle had a huge brawl, and they both dominated the event with their performance. Angle claimed that they didn’t care how the program went and that the only thing that mattered to them was that they had the best match of the whole evening.

Kurt Angle said, “Ohh yeah, he’s a tough kid, too. He took quite a beating when I wrestled him at the King of the Ring in 2001, and we both ended up in the hospital that night. And you know what crazy is? We’re in the hospital; we’re both on a wheelchair. We are dumb as well as we are high-fiving each other and saying, ‘Ohh, we stole the show.’

Kurt Angle wants to face Shane McMahon once again

Kurt revealed in his podcast that he always enjoyed working with Mr. McMahon’s son because he was tough in the ring. Kurt stated that he would like to have another match with him, but it does not appear that WWE will make this happen.

Shane McMahon is no longer with WWE and his return may take some time. On the other hand, Kurt Angle is set to return to WWE as he celebrates his birthday on the Blue Brand next week. Kurt hasn’t been seen in weeks, and this would be something special.

Kurt may return to WWE as an in-ring performer as well, considering his last match was never taken seriously. He might have his final match against a major opponent like John Cena or someone else. Let us see what happens to him in the future.
