WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has been described as one of the most famous personalities in pro wrestling of all time. Making his debut in 1977, Hogan due to his American Hero persona ruled throughout the 80s and headlined all Wrestlemania events till 1993. He has won the WWF Championship 5 times and is the first person to win the Royal Rumble match consecutively. But even after a decorated career, Mr. America has been surrounded by a fair share of controversies. Only a few know that there was a time when Hogan got involved in a s*x scandal and that too, a big one. In 2012, a s*x tape emerged online in which Hogan was involved as well.
The video clip was released through American Blog Gawker, and it broke the internet as it became widely available online. Hogan later admitted that it was indeed him who was seen in the video but more shocking was the fact that he admitted to having slept with his best friend’s wife. The WWE Hall Of Famer in an interview revealed that he had s*x with his best friend RJ Bubba The Love Sponge’s wife Heather Clem.

Hulk Hogan revealed that in 2006 when he was dealing with a lot of problems related to his married life and was having issues with her wife Linda Hogan. Hogan revealed that he was friends with the famous RJ and would often visit him in his office. One day Hogan said that when he was with Bubba’s wife, the RJ said- “You two can do your thing while I’m in the office”. The former WWE Hall of Famer said it was “awfully nice” of his best friend to offer his wife but he took the whole thing as a joke at first, but later on, when he couldn’t take the stress he went for it.
Hogan later revealed when the clip was released, he felt really miserable that someone had secretly shot them and put it on a website. However, it was later revealed that it was Bubba himself who had shot the video, and later it sold it to Gawker. TMZ reported that Bubba at the end of the tape was heard talking to her wife- “If we ever did want to retire, all we’d have to do is use this,” indicating that this all was a setup and he had deliberately shot Hogan with his wife to gain monetary benefits. Later on, Hogan filed a case against Gawker for defaming him and causing him severe mental trauma and was $31 million in damages.
