The Caribbean Cool Carlito has been quite a famous and successful superstar in WWE. Besides his achievements in the Stamford-based company, Carlito has also been a megastar in the Puerto Rican wrestling promotion, the World Wrestling Council. His recent appearance in WWE has seen him aligned with LWO while fans wait for his return to the company. But recent reports suggest that his next appearance has been held back purposefully for better impact.
According to PWInsider, WWE is delaying Caribbean Cool’s return to a bigger stage considering his growing popularity. Carlito’s last appearance gained him a lot of attention from the San Juan crowd as he returned at the Backlash 2023 event. Initially, it was expected that he would return for the special episode of SmackDown airing live from Madison Square Garden, but they avoided it to overshadow the significant storyline of The Bloodline.
Carlito‘s nearby return can also be speculated on, as the reports suggest he was spotted flying to Pittsburgh, where WWE’s medical team is located. This does not specifically suggest his physical condition has enabled him to wrestle, but hopes have been built around the same. It has not been speculated where his return can be expected, but it is now assured to be at a relatively grander stage.
As his previous appearance came as a part of the LWO, his upcoming return can also be speculated in the support of his hometown faction. The last time he appeared was with the help of Bad Bunny against Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight match. His apple-eating gesture and sudden appearance received thunderous applause from the Puerto Rican crowd.

Dominik Mysterio warns Carlito ahead of his rumored return
The Judgment Day’s feud with LWO saw some extraordinary moments at Backlash 2023. Whether it be the Puerto Rican crowd’s loudest pop to hometown girl Zelina Vega. Or let it be the high-profile match between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest, WWE did not disappoint with the ultimate heel and hometown faction’s faceoff.
As a result of this feud, Dominik Mysterio has already reignited the rivalry by warning Carlito to get stomped due to his interference. During an interview with Metro UK, Dominik stated that the Caribbean Cool will have a problem with The Judgment Day due to his needless business interception.
Mysterio has agreed to a matchup with Carlito and looks forward to having an interesting bout with him. It has been speculated that the former United States Champion’s impact would be felt sooner on a larger stage. Also, his connection with the LWO can help him get into major feuds just after his full-time return.
