As a result, WWE has carried out the Draft at times to bring a fresh feel to both rosters. It has its own significance to keep both the roster’s superstars exclusively for their respective brands under USA Network and Fox. However, in recent times, WWE has ended the brand split. According to Dave Meltzer, the company has been looking to hold a Draft this year after WrestleMania 39. He added that initially the plans were to hold the Draft in October last year, but there were changes in plans. “There’s been some talk of waiting until after WrestleMania to do it,” Meltzer said. Metaphorically, WrestleMania marks the end of the season, and beyond that, a new one begins. Therefore, the company is looking for a superstar shakeup to revitalize the rosters after Mania.
