“Get out of that fu*king shadow,” WWE legend thrashes Cody Rhodes for dedicating his current run to his father
Cody Rhodes is adamant to win the WWE title in his current run. However, there have been multiple people putting a question on his capabilities with bringing up his father's name to his storyline.

Cody Rhodes got back inside the WWE ring last year after his departure in 2016. He went against Seth Rollins on the first night of WrestleMania, bringing a brand new angle to current storylines. Soon after, he announced that he had returned to win the WWE Championship, which his father could not do in his run.
Cody was involved in a great storyline with Seth Rollins before he suffered an injury that kept him away from the ring yet again. He returned once again at the 2023 Royal Rumble as the 30th entrant. He not only won the match but also won the opportunity to win the Championship at the upcoming WrestleMania.
However, WWE legend Bully Rey isn’t happy with the approach that Cody has brought to the WWE. He seemed utterly disappointed to see Dusty Rhodes being brought into the current WWE storylines. The company couldn’t extract much from what Dusty had while he was signed with the WWE.
“We can always use the Dusty story as a little bit of enhancement to the Cody story. You’ve gotta get out of that fu*king shadow,” said Bully Rey. He also thought that WWE should put forth a Cody story instead of the Dusty story. It now appears that the WWE creative team has heard what Bully was trying to say.

The recent in-ring segment between Cody Rhodes and Paul Heyman was a masterpiece
The latest edition of Monday Night RAW was a complete success, thanks to the mind-blowing segment between Paul Heyman and Cody Rhodes. Paul entered the ring to highlight the feats of The Tribal Chief. However, things changed midway through their conversation.
Cody Rhodes then went ahead to mention the contributions that Paul Heyman made to his father. Every sentence had Heyman in awe, and he was on the verge of crying. However, Paul didn’t let his emotions take over and got back to the reason he was actually there. He asserted that Cody wouldn’t be able to win WrestleMania.
Paul then went ahead and made direct shots at Cody. He recalled that Dusty Rhodes trained everyone, including Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Bayley, and Becky Lynch, but not Cody Rhodes. He also went ahead to make a mic-drop argument, saying that Cody might be Dusty’s favourite child, but Roman was the son that he had wanted.
