Triple H reportedly nixed the WWE Raw return of Attitude Era veteran due to ‘last-minute’ creative changes

Well, too much of these changes are happening as of late. Is Vince back already? Keeping jokes apart, the matter of the fact is, last night’s Raw once again witnessed a tear up of original script. So being said, Trish Stratus’ comeback was nixed during the course of live taping. After being informed about the change, Stratus decided to leave the arena early.
As reported earlier, the 43-year-old was present backstage in Ottawa. Furthermore, she was internally listed for the Ding Ding Hello segment hosted by Bayley. Even though that talk-show went as planned, however, only Stratus’ involvement got canceled creatively. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confirmed the news about the canceled plans for the WWE Hall of Famer.
Additionally, the WRKD account on Twitter provided some more information. Same as above, they too admitted about the last-minute creative tweaks. Also, the report assured everyone that Trish Stratus is still on her way to WWE for a dream program. There’s nothing like creative differences between Toronto’s own and the WWE management.
Putting things into context, Stratus is coming in for a prolonged period. Also, her rumored storyline with the Damage CTRL with Becky Lynch and Lita on her side, is exactly what she’s been waiting for years. By the looks, a potential 6-man tag team match featuring Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY up against Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 39 is the working plan.

Becky Lynch and Lita set for a huge Championship match next week
Although everyone was expecting the female Canadian legend to show up last night, fans instead got Beck Lynch & Lita in turn. They came and stood right into the faces of Damage CTRL. Sooner than later, the fascinating duo of Lynch & Lita issued a challenge towards Dakota Kai & IYO SKY for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. And as we talk, that match has been made official for next week.
Grand Rapids is set to welcome a huge women’s Tag Team showdown with such enormous talent in the mix. However, Bayley is expected to ruin things up and cause a Disqualification. And at that exact moment, all the stars will align perfectly for a Trish Stratus return. That’s what settle things down and set-up a match for the ages to come at the Showcase of the Immortals.
