The WWE superstars on television may not necessarily be the same people in real life. The stars that fans boo or cheer for every week follow a script and embody a kayfabe character. Several WWE stars have a problematic past attached to them. One such former superstar who earned the infamy of r*pe allegations was Enzo Amore. He was once thrown out of the Survivor Series in 2018.

In January 2018, WWE sacked Enzo Amore from the company. An appalling r*pe allegation by a woman against him preceded this. To steer clear of any controversy, the company immediately fired the superstar after police started a sexual assault investigation case. Later in the same year, Amore showed up at Survivor Series 2018, raising a commotion in the arena.

Precisely five years ago, the 36-year-old made his shocking appearance at Survivor Series 2018. However, he showed up in an unauthorized manner to hijack the event. Amore snuck into the arena wearing a black wig in order to cover his bleached hair. He was sitting furtively on the hard-cam side of the arena. Watch the video here.

Later, he stood up on the chair and declaimed his quintessential promo, with the crowd singing along. The 36-year-old was immediately escorted out of the building, and cops were seemingly called on him. But the superstar absconded before the police could reach the venue. Since his firing from WWE, Enzo Amore has seemingly dabbled in the music industry.

Enzo Amore and the problematic controversies surrounding him

Eric Arndt, better known by the ring name Enzo Amore, was a mainstay on WWE programming in the mid-2010s. The superstar was a part of the popular tag team “Enzo and Cass,” alongside his best friend and current AEW superstar, Big Cass. The duo was highly popular with the WWE Universe due to the former’s famous catchphrase. Despite his popularity among fans, Amore had a bad reputation in the locker room.

The tag team built an instant connection with the fans after their promotion to the main roster. However, the tandem, Amore in particular, wasn’t necessarily liked by their colleagues in WWE. According to past media reports, the superstar was reportedly kicked out of a tour bus for talking ill about the wrestling business.

And the person who threw him out of the bus was none other than Roman Reigns. In other news, Amore hit the headlines when he brought his non-WWE friends to the locker room area. His friends seemingly filmed other WWE superstars without their consent. Thus, the superstars felt that the ex-WWE star should have advised his friends to follow basic etiquette.

On top of everything, a woman on X (formerly Twitter) accused him of sexual assault. She also filed a police report, which ultimately led to his expulsion from the company. There’s no doubt that Enzo Amore was one of the most controversial WWE superstars.
