WWE planning a high-voltage clash between Roman Reigns and 26-year-old NXT Superstar: Reports

Former NXT superstar, Bron Breakker, is believed to be one of the future megastars for the company. Now, reports suggest that the 26-year-old is expected to be in the program with Roman Reigns.

Bron made an appearance on last week’s episode of SmackDown to talk about his contract with Triple H. However, Wiseman Paul Heyman visited him, and it looked like it was more than just a meet and greet. According to Dave Meltzer from WON, the little meeting between the two may have planted seeds for a feud between Bron and Roman in the future.

Bron grabbed the opportunity with both hands with an excellent performance in the Royal Rumble. Although he survived just 5 minutes in the match, he eliminated four superstars, including the likes of Omos, Finn Balor, and Jimmy Uso. Fans were impressed by his performance, which was in place of Brock Lesnar, but due to the recent incident regarding sexual allegations, Bron replaced him at the last moment.

It’s been noted with Heyman showing up in the Breakker segment on Smackdown and Breakker doing the “Best spear in the business” T-shirt and gimmick that this could be a subtle start for a program way down the line. Obviously Reigns has programs set up for Rock and Sikoa as well and he only does a few matches per year.

He recently became the tag team champion with Baron Corbin on last week’s episode of NXT. It was an emotional moment for the duo, as Corbin won his first title after six years. It will be interesting to see whether Bron Breakker stays on NXT to defend the tag titles or if he will soon join the main roster. 

Bron Breakker became a new SmackDown superstar as he signed a contract

There have been speculations regarding which brand Bron Breaker will join. Now, the mystery has been solved, as SmackDown GM, Nick Aldis, finally convinced him and made him the new superstar of the Blue brand.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Aldis announced that Bron has joined the Blue Brand. The 26-year-old superstar signed a contract and shook hands with Aldis, announcing his arrival on the main roster. 

Although he is now a SmackDown superstar, he is still the NXT tag team champion. He will be making regular appearances on NXT shows to defend his title with his partner, Baron Corbin. Bron is scheduled to wrestle in his debut match next Friday. The fans are excited to see how he performs and wish him success on the main roster.
