Whether you appreciate or debate over it, Triple H has certainly altered the course of WWE, for good. Ever since his takeover creatively, the 14-time World Champion is making some necessary amends. Outside of the improved quality of shows, Hunter has mainly emphasized on selling tickets globally.
After the recent success of WWE Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, the company is now planning another International Live Event. Per WrestleVotes, there was a lot of chatter regarding the same during last night’s Raw. The plan is to hold another huge live event, outside of the United States, either on January 18 or 19 next year.
Moving further in the update, it wasn’t specified whether the show will be televised or not. There’s no word on the location too. Still, the rumored date falls around a couple of weeks before the Royal Rumble. This itself signifies that no matter what, the currently in-works event won’t be a regular premium live event. Not sure how things would go if they really end up doing this at that juncture.

The International Live Events have proven a massive boom for WWE
Outside of the States, wrestling is widely popular in counties like Canada, India, the United Kingdom etc. Fabs residing in those locales literally crave for WWE to visit them and inject some wrasslin in their bodies. As we saw, the Stamford-based promotion finally toured UK this year for a Stadium show, the first one since 1992.
The event turned out to be an overwhelming affair for everyone. The Principality Stadium served as the host venue for the event which filled in over 62,000 seats. The promotion amassed over $8 million live gate. Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against the hometown hero Drew McIntyre.
In an absolute slobberknocker, The Tribal Chief emerged victorious. However, matter of the fact is that the WWE won’t be holding themselves back in continuing such extravaganzas across the globe. These particular events generate some staggering amounts of revenue and record gates, which are more than enough to keep WWE engaged in such ventures.
