With the influx of major happenings in WWE as of late, the company is hellbent on producing quality television. Considering WrestleMania is just around the corner, they need to fire on all cylinders. So being said, there’s been a lot of chatter regarding free agents possibly turning their tracks towards WWE. The hottest name swirling around is of Jay White. Seemingly, there is a strong push within the Stamford-based promotion to fetch The Switchblade.
However, amidst the rampaging turn of events, something huge is reportedly cooking within WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Radio, the higher-esques in the company who are supposed to have all the necessary information regarding Mania plans, aren’t talking about Jay White. Instead, the word going around is that a “much-bigger” free agent is on the radar at the moment.
That being said, it’s certainly has created a lot of excitement among everyone. The case with which that name is heavily tossed around internally tells everything. Though Jay White is not at all off the table, maybe some flabbergasting stuff is in the cards. Some names like Kota Ibushi, Nick Aldis and Tama Tonga has been making the rounds on internet ever since this report came out.
“It is not clear what is next for White, although one would suspect WWE or AEW would be his next destination, because nothing else would make sense. Those in WWE who would normally know of major acquisitions during Mania season didn’t know about this one and only said that there was a much bigger major free agent in play right now that was internally the priority.”
