In the latest YouTube edition of “WWE Top 10 Special Edition”, WWE has announced a list of the Top 10 debuts of all time. The list features the debuts of multiple WWE superstars. It ranges from Kane and Chris Jericho going all the way back in the 90s to Ronda Rousey and AJ Styles, who were comparatively recent.
A debut appearance for any superstar is significant, as that is the first impression for many fans of who they are and what they do. If a debut is not done correctly, it can take a lot of time and work for the superstar to get over with the fans. Inversely, if a superstar gets a huge reaction in their debut, they are destined to do great things in the industry.
The best debuts that are at the top of the list, according to WWE, are The Shield, Kane, Goldberg, Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar. On the other hand, AJ Styles, The Rock, Kevin Owens, John Cena, and Chris Jericho are the other five debutants. Wrestlers from other companies debuted in the company for the first time and emerged as stars.
Wrestlers like Goldberg, AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, and Kevin Owens were big names in the wrestling world before they showed up in WWE. Whereas, Kane, Brock Lesnar, The Rock, and John Cena all made their name in WWE after their debut and continued to be fan favorites to date.
WWE names “The Shield” as the best debut of all time, and many fans agree. Eleven years later, all three men still dominate the wrestling industry. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose broke up in 2014 when Rollins joined The Authority. They all went their separate ways until Ambrose left in 2019.
Where does The Shield stand in 2023?

The Shield was one of the most dominant factions in WWE. All three members were popular with the fans during their time together. This was rare at the time and has been even rarer since. The trio had multiple runs with tag titles among themselves. Besides, they went on to hold other championships across WWE.
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have been in WWE for over a decade and have won the WWE Championships multiple times. Rollins and Reigns have been WWE Grand Slam Champions and have also won the Royal Rumble. And Roman Reigns has been the WWE Universal Champion since 2020.
Dean Ambrose gained the same level of popularity in WWE, if not more, than his fellow brothers of justice. But he decided not to renew his contract in 2019. The former WWE superstar was not satisfied with his WWE character. Now going by Jon Moxley, he debuted in AEW in May of 2019 and has been the top star there. Moxley also won the AEW Championship on three separate occasions.
