WrestleMania 39 turned out to be one of the greatest and most memorable events. Well, the Show of Shows was not actually memorable for some of the superstars. WWE had two nights to fit in all of their talented roster and provide them the opportunity to perform on the Grandest Stage. However, a few wrestlers who were super popular with the fans, unfortunately, got left out of the show. The names also, surprisingly, include Bobby Lashley and LA Knight.
Bobby Lashley was supposed to take on Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, and the buildup to the match was on as well. However, the plans got scrapped after Wyatt opted out due to injury concerns, and the match got canceled. Due to his opponent’s disappearance, The All-Mighty was underwhelmingly inserted into the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.
LA Knight, on the other hand, has been so popular with fans and has gotten impressive reactions week after week. It seemed WWE has a major plan for The Megastar, as he kept saying, “There’ll be no WrestleMania in LA without LA Knight”. Nonetheless, WWE managed to book a Mania in LA without LA Knight, as he missed out.
As fans were wondering about the disappearance of Lashley and Knight, a recent report revealed the scrapped WrestleMania 39 plans. The report stated that The All-Mighty was set to feature in a special segment alongside LA Knight, but the plans were scrapped.
This must be sickening news for the fans who wanted to see both men perform on the Grandest Stage. The disdain of fans after hearing the news is justified. As you can’t leave out two of the most talented wrestlers on your roster, whom fans wanted to see.

More WrestleMania 39 plans were discarded apart from Bobby Lashley/LA Knight segment
It was unfortunate that fans couldn’t witness a segment or possibly a match between Bobby Lashley and LA Knight. The altercation between both superstars at the Show of Shows had so much potential.
Other than that program, the report also revealed another plan that was discarded from the show at the last minute. The reportedly canceled plans involved Bad Bunny joining Rey Mysterio‘s newly formed LWO with Legado Del Fantasma. Apart from the reportedly canceled plans that are mentioned, more obscure plans might’ve been pulled back last minute as well.
