The Aussie icon Grayson Waller has been highly successful in his heel persona on SmackDown. The outspoken nature of Waller makes him hateful yet equally entertaining for the WWE Universe.
The Arrogant Aussie has gotten under the skin of many superstars and keeps up on his crowd insults (except for Australians). All of this could’ve turned on him, though, if it weren’t for the WWE security guards’ awareness at the Bob Carpenter Center.
The footage of a ferocious fan held by WWE security has been surfacing all over the internet. The fan jumped the barricade to confront Waller during his entrance. The security stopped the fan immediately and dumped him back on the guard rail to eject him from the building.
Grayson was alongside Austin Theory while they were walking through the ringside for their tag team match. The heel duo was to face Cameron Grimes and Odyssey Jones at the Bob Carpenter Arena in Newark, Delaware. WWE Sunday Stunner, being the live event, had the entire SmackDown roster.
The duo named A-Town Down Under has been feuding with Kevin Owens on SmackDown. Both stars have had their collective issues with the Prizefighter and look to solve them on a weekly basis. The numbers advantage will benefit the heel duo for now until LA Knight comes in to resolve his ongoing conflict.
A-Town Down Under will continue their reign, at least till WrestleMania 40
The similarity in their behavior has brought Austin Theory and Grayson Waller together. The duo has the name A-Town Down Under, a combination of their nicknames. Their heel nature has shown efficiency, and they look to get under the skin of every possible babyface superstar on SmackDown.
The reports provided by WrestleVotes suggest WWE’s plan to continue the heel duo’s run for a long time. The tag team is reported to have a big role in their programming in their Road to WrestleMania 40. WWE is seemingly impressed with Theory and Waller, and a push is speculated to be happening.
The December 1, 2023, episode of SmackDown even had Logan Paul align on their side due to their persona. To strengthen the babyface vs. heel storyline, Kevin Owens and LA Knight would be in need of a third member to even the numbers. It would be exciting to see how the US Champion plays a role in it.
