The Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) 250 Women’s wrestler list, which judges the top 250 best female wrestlers in the division, was released on October 18. While Rhea Ripley topped the rankings, current NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch came in at #29. It came as a shock to many, as Big Time Becks is a prominent figure in the women’s division.

Without a doubt, Becky Lynch is one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world. In fact, she has taken part in the most entertaining matches of the past year or so. The Grand Slam Champion’s bouts against Trish Stratus at Payback and Tiffany Stratton at NXT: No Mercy are among the best of the year. Also, the 36-year-old has helped build stars such as Tegan Nox on the main roster.

Furthermore, Becky Lynch’s character work is considered one of the best in the WWE. From The Man to Big Time Becks, she has shown why she is a versatile worker as well as a great talker. While it was far from Lynch’s best year of her career, she still managed to be a crucial part of the women’s division.

Needless to say, the fan outrage online is justified, given Becky Lynch’s stance in professional wrestling. Moreover, this marked the first time in years that none of the Four Horsewomen ranked inside the Top 10. As a result, the WWE Universe criticized the PWI rankings, with some questioning the authenticity of the list.
