“I’ve been enjoying life,” X-Pac reveals the sad reality of his Royal Rumble match status
Prior to the Royal Rumble this Saturday, X Pac, who was rumored to compete in the men's Royal Rumble match, confirmed his status through a tweet.

The Royal Rumble PLE will take place this Saturday in San Antonio, Texas, in the Alamodome. Before the show, there are a lot of rumors and reports floating around. All the reports and rumors suggesting possible returns and surprises have made the show more exciting for the fans to tune in. One of the reports suggested that X-Pac was going to be a part of the men’s Royal Rumble match. The WWE Hall of Famer was rumored to be a surprise entrant in the men’s Rumble match. However, in a recent tweet, he confirmed his status regarding a possible return to the WWE.
Sean “X-Pac” Waltman has not wrestled in a WWE ring for over 20 years. However, he is not ring rusty, as he wrestled last year at a Game changer wrestling event. He teamed up with former AEW wrestling star Joey Janela. X-Pac is still in good shape and could possibly wrestle at any time. But he has made it very clear that he will not be entering the men’s Rumble match. He broke the news in a humorous tweet, putting an end to all rumors.
As depicted in the tweet, X-Pac has made it clear that he won’t be able to participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match. He sincerely appreciated the fans who were expecting him to be in the Rumble. However, he has not completely rejected the idea of a possible return. In another tweet, X-Pac answered a fan’s question about his return to the 2024 Royal Rumble with “maybe.” All the reports indicate we might be seeing him wrestle in the WWE next year or before that.

X Pac made an appearance before Royal Rumble
This past Monday, on the 30th anniversary of Raw, X-Pac made an appearance as a member of D-Generation X. X-Pac has been a part of the D-X since his early days in the WWE. He has also appeared as a member of D-X on other notable Raw occasions. whether it’s “raw 1000” or “raw 25.” On Raw Is XXX, he was present along with other members of D-X. On the show, he made his entrance alongside Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Road Dogg, and surprisingly, Kurt Angle replacing Billy Gun. It was a funny segment, as they were breaking the fourth wall and entertaining the fans.
The D-X also faced off with “The Imperium,” notably the Intercontinental champion “Gunther.” The moments were intense until Seth Rollins came out to face-off with the Intercontinental champion, only to be joined by ‘The Street Profits’. After the face-off, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long came out to announce a six-man tag team match. He announced the match in his classic style between Seth, Street Profits, and The Imperium. Overall, it was a great segment followed by a great match on Raw Is XXX.
With the appearance of X-Pac on Raw is XXX, the rumors were going strong about him being in the men’s rumble match. However, He announced it’s not going to happen this Saturday. He also kept the door open for his return, maybe next year. Before X-Pac, Vince McMahon was also planning to make his appearance, but it’s highly unlikely that either of them will appear.
