The rivalry between the New Day and Imperium is getting more intense day by day. The rivalry took a drastic turn to violence when Imperium member Giovanni Vinci suffered an injury at the hands of Kofi Kingston. His partner Ludwig Kaiser took revenge on Kofi as he brutally attacked him with the commentator’s chair.

The revenge game went further as Kofi’s New Day partner, Xavier Woods, channeled his ruthless side and tried to destroy Kaiser with the steel steps. After another backstage brawl between the two, Woods took to X and sent a stern warning to him that the next time he wouldn’t miss his mark.

The 37-year-old showed his side that the fans never saw, and it looks like this rivalry is not going to stop just now. Gunther‘s return after a few weeks of rest on last week’s episode of Raw will certainly fuel some more animosity between the two groups.

Taking a look at the last few years, WWE 2K20 had Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns as the cover stars, while WWE 2K21 had AJ Styles as the cover star. Rey Mysterio became the cover star for WWE 2K22, and John Cena took the honors for WWE 2K23. It will be interesting to see who will be the cover star this time in WWE 2K24.
