Dominik Mysterio has become one of the hottest stars in WWE and is widely popular among the fans. As WWE Superstars appeared at San Diego Comic Con, fans showed their support for the newly crowned NXT North American Champion. In a hilarious interaction, a young fan dressed up as Dominik and warned Seth Rollins about Dirty Dom. As a result, Rollins got back at the fan with a savage reply.

In the video, a young fan dressed up as Dominik Mysterio talks to the World Heavyweight Champion and says that Dominik will come for his title as well. WWE Superstars like Chelsea Green and Mick Foley can be seen in the interaction. Rollins appreciated the fan for his efforts in dressing up as Mysterio. Additionally, Rollins hits back at the fan and Mysterio, saying that he is the only Dominik fan and no one else admires Dirty Dom.

Since aligning himself with The Judgment Day and turning heel, the Modern Day Latino Heat has boosted his career. Fans have been actively booing him to the point where he is barely audible during his promos. Working with Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor has proved beneficial for Dominik, as all four members are running Monday Nights.

Rhea Ripley has been on an incredible run as the Women’s World Champion. Damian Priest holds the MITB Contract, which allows him to challenge for any title. On the other hand, Finn Balor has been feuding with Seth Rollins for his World Heavyweight Championship. The feud is expected to culminate at SummerSlam, and fans will have to see if Priest interferes in the match and affects the outcome of the match.

Dominik Mysterio defends his North American Championship on SmackDown

Dirty Dom continues to be one of the most active stars on the roster as he achieves a new feat this week. After wrestling in the main event of Raw, Mysterio faced Wes Lee for the North American title on NXT. Following his victory over Lee, Dominik faced Butch in the final match on Friday night, making his first title defense.

The match was decided during a backstage segment as Butch challenged Dominik for the title. Shawn Michaels interrupted the conversation and said that he would talk to Adam Pearce and try to make the match official. As the show took place in Orlando, Florida, which is where NXT takes place, many stars from NXT were featured on the show, including HBK.

Butch was dominating the match and was about to win the title. However, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley attacked him as Mysterio capitalized on the opportunity. He pinned Butch clean to get his first victory as the champion this week on SmackDown. It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the coming time.
