Zelina Vega made her WWE debut back in 2017. From a heel valet to being a singles competitor as a member of LWO, the Puerto Rican superstar had worn numerous hats over the course of her career. In a recent post on social media, Vega expressed her desire to have Grammy award-winning Bad Bunny sing her entrance theme.
One of her fans took to X and shared a video mix edit of Zelina using Bunny’s famous song- 25/8 in the background. The edited clip caught the attention of the LWO superstar. Quoting the tweet, the 32-year-old said she wishes Bad Bunny would lend his voice to an exclusive theme song for her.
She expressed her peculiar wish and wrote:
Imagine @sanbenito doing my single’s theme song. That would be epic AF. Have my LWO theme with the boys and then a Bad Bunny banger for singles competition.. oof!!.Zelina Vega wrote on X.
The SmackDown superstar added that she would retain her LWO theme with her stablemates while using the latter for singles competition.
The 32-year-old superstar has used the modified version of the “Royal Doll” theme song by Def Rebel for the last couple of years. However, she is currently using LWO’s “Our World’ theme as a member of the Latino stable. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny used his 2020 and 2017 songs “Booker T” and “Chambea” as his entrance theme in WWE. He debuted the latter theme earlier this year at WWE Backlash.
Zelina Vega says she wants to win a singles championship in WWE
The Latino World Order member Zelina Vega, spent most of her WWE career as a manager. She managed ex-WWE superstar Andrade El Idolo for over three years. However, she fully metamorphosed herself into a single competitor after the latter’s departure. The 32-year-old has recently expressed her goal of winning a singles title in WWE.
Speaking in an interview with Screen Rant, Vega was asked about her thoughts about winning the upcoming Royal Rumble and challenging Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky at the Showcase of The Immortals. Flirting with the idea of capturing the singles title, she stated that playing a babyface wrestler was entirely new for her, as she has predominantly been a heel manager before. Thus, she wants to prove herself to the management and the fans.
The Puerto Rican star said:
"This is a whole new Zelina that they're seeing as far as me being a wrestler and a baby face because that did not come easy at all, they've always said I've been a natural heel. This is something I feel like I'm proving to the fans, I'm proving to the office, I'm also proving to myself that this is the version of myself that I'm supposed to be at. And holding singles gold is exactly where Zelina Vega needs to be now in her career."Zelina Vega told Screen Rant.
Vega has received praise for her babyface run. Eventually, a wrestler of her caliber would win a singles title in the WWE.
