REVEALED: Next potential challenger for Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns
This past weekend, at the most stupendous Wrestlemania of all time, we witnessed what greatness looks like as the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns beat the Beast Brock Lesnar in a highly physical match and inked his name in the history books as the Unified WWE Universal Champion of the modern era. Roman Reigns showed up on the Raw after Wrestlemania along with his wise man Paul Heyman and the reigning Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos.
Paul Heyman spoke about the achievements of the Bloodline and how Roman Reigns was a man on his word. He then said that his next move will be revealed on Friday Night Smackdown.
Drew McIntyre might be the next rightful challenger for Roman Reigns
At WWE WrestleMania 38, Drew McIntyre beat Happy Corbin. On Night One of the Show of Shows, the Scottish Warrior broke the Happy One’s undefeated streak, putting an end to a long feud. The former WWE Champion became the first person to kick out of Corbin’s End Of Days finisher. Since his plot with the Mayor of Jackpot City appears to be over after WrestleMania, the SmackDown star will need a fresh creative direction post-WrestleMania.
The Scottish Psychopath seems quite over with the crowd and is the apparent top babyface of WWE. Meanwhile, the biggest moment of Drew’s career came in front of no one when he defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, owing to Covid-19 regulations. This might be the perfect scenario for Drew to step up against the Tribal Chief who is in God mode right now.
We already have witnessed what a match these two heavyweights could pull of when they squared off in a Champion vs Champion match at Survivor Series. Even though the Scottish warrior lost the match, they did not have a rivalry with the world championship on the line. The head to head record between the two is 5 wins against 14 losses and Drew does have unfinished business and a score to settle.
