The current NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff makes his way to the ring. His challenger Johnny Gargano comes out shouting. He calls Ruff’s win a fluke and hits a cheap shot before the match. The shot gives an upper-hand to Gargano. But Ruff builds momentum as he hits back-to-back offenses.

Damien Priest walks out. Gargano is distracted but Ruff is not able to capitalize on the distraction. Gargano hits a Powerbomb followed by a One Final Beat DDT. He goes for the cover, but Priest pulls Ruff outside the ring. Priest says sorry kid and hits Ruff on the mouth. The referee calls for the bell.
