Commentator Kevin Owens predicts that Kushida will win tonight. He also mentions that he would like to face Timothy Thatcher. Before the match begins Tommaso Ciampa walks out with a steel chair and sits by the ringside.
These are undoubtedly two of the most technical and hard-hitting wrestlers on the roster. After some classic back and forth action, Thatcher starts dominating the match. Kushida gets back in the match as both the wrestlers trade submission moves.
Thatcher is getting distracted by Ciampa. This allows Kushida to get a Hoverboard Lock for the win. Ciampa looks into the camera and says, “Do you think he has a problem with me now?” This was in reference to Ciampa and Thatcher’s conversation on last week’s NXT.

But they have William Regal instead of Long. Regal comes out and makes the triple-threat match official. He ends his announcement with “playa”.
Cameron Grimes def. Jake Atlas
This was a really short match. Grimes dominated the match and hit a Cave In for the win. This might be an indication that the Grimes and Dexter Lumis rivalry has been concluded.
But no, Lumis comes out. Lumis has a bag in his hand, as he shows the highlights of their House of Horror match. The bag contains a strap. Lumis might be indicating at a leather strap match, but Grimes rejects. But Regal stops Grimes.
